Description
The Al Raed Stadium, located in the King Abdullah Sports Complex in Buraydah, is an important sports facility with a capacity of 34,000. This stadium is home to Al Taawun, Al Raed and Al Hazem football clubs, which play in the Saudi Professional League.
The first match at this stadium was held on December 24, 1982, between Al Taawun and Al Tai and ended in a 1-1 draw. This memorable match attracted 10,000 spectators and is remembered for the first goal, which, unfortunately, was an own goal by an Al Tai player.
